Dromex Emperor Smelter Boots, (DF-EMPEROR) are high-performance, metal-free safety boots engineered for extreme industrial environments like foundries, smelters, refineries, and electrical ARC flash hazard zones. Constructed from premium full-grain European cow leather that’s flexible, waterproof, and chromium VI-free, they feature a fiberglass toecap rated for 200J impact, external foot-bridge metatarsal guard (100J), and lightweight Kevlar midsole for penetration resistance and heat protection. Certified to EN ISO 20349-1:2017+A1:2020 for flame retardancy and ASTM F2413-18 for 18kV electrical hazard resistance, the PU/nitrile rubber outsole is cleated, SRC slip-resistant, contact heat-resistant, oil-resistant, and features energy-absorbing heel strike.

The slip-on design incorporates large multiple hook-and-loop straps for rapid emergency release, removable breathable PU/memory foam insock, and wider toecap for comfort during extended wear in high-heat, high-voltage conditions. Available in brown for UK sizes 5-13, these boots excel where molten metal splashes, electrical faults, and slippery surfaces pose simultaneous risks.
